Terms and Conditions 

Shepherd hut Glamping with Bramble Park

1. Bookings

Bramble Park is for adults aged 18 and over, guests younger than 18 are not permitted to stay and no refunds will be given for bookings made for children. Bramble Park only handles bookings from persons over 18 years of age. We reserve the right, at all times – without a statement of reasons – to refuse a booking. The booking confirmation must be checked immediately on receipt for any errors. Possible errors must always be notified by email before the start of the stay. Booking requirements and details are displayed on the booking webpage for each of the two pitches.

2. Prices

Bramble Park reserves the right to modify the prices shown on the website at any time. At the time of booking, you will be informed of the prices applicable. Discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used after a booking has been confirmed. Bramble Park reserves the right to refuse bookings which
have obviously wrong prices.

3. Payment

Payment Options:

1. Full refunds will be given in the event bookings are not able to go ahead as a
result of Coronavirus. 

2. Usual procedure:

  • Less than four weeks to your stay: Full Payment is due via Debit or Credit Card (Choose Paypal at Checkout) or BACS transfer (Choose Direct Transfer at
    checkout and you will be provided with bank details).

  • More than four weeks to your stay:
    • 30% Non-refundable deposit by BACS (Choose Direct Transfer at checkout and you will be provided by bank details).
    • 70% is due by four weeks prior to your arrival date also via bank transfer – a reminder will be sent ahead of this, final payments not received by the four weeks ahead of the booking may result in the booking being lost if contact is not made.

  • A Damages deposit will be requested one week ahead of your stay, by separate e-mail invoice. 

4. Cancellations

The 30% booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations can be made by the booking party up to four weeks ahead of the stay and the remainder of the payment due will be waived.

Once the four-week period before the stay is reached and the remainder of the payment has been made, no refunds will be given, however it is possible to postpone your stay to another mutually agreeable date for a fee of £50 per person. We highly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance on your trip.

5. Closures and Force Majeure

Bramble Park will not be held liable if, through Force Majeure, the implementation of the agreement is entirely or patially, temporarily or permanently, prevented due to circumstances beyond the control of Little Orchard. This may include, but is not limited to flood, fire, weather events and strikes.

In extreme weather Bramble Park reserves the right to close the venue. No refund will be given if the site is unable to open due to extreme weather and if we feel the venue has become unsafe but the booking can be postponed to another mutually agreed date. Bramble Park will contact all guests in
good time to discuss a potential postponement, if the weather forecast is exceptionally bad.

Bramble Park will continue to follow government advice and act where necessary. Refunds provided will be because of government legislation and not based on individual or personal situations, except through Little Orchard’s discretion.

6. Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 3pm and Check-out is before 10.30am.

Please let us know in advance or on the morning of your arrival the time you are likely to arrive, so that we can be around to welcome you to the farm, this can be via a text message to Chess 07472672292. On arrival, please pull up to the parking area , your parking area will be named. IF you are bringing horses please pull into the sand ring & wait for Jade to arrive and assist. We will also provide all this information again prior to your arrival.

On departure you do not need to check-out with us in person, for example if you’d like to get an early start, but we will most likely be around to wave you off. Please leave your key in the hut door .

7. Dogs

We are a working farm and do not allow dogs or other pets on site.

8. Liability

Bramble Park accept no liability for:
•Theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay at Bramble Park.
• belongings left in the Shepherd huts or cars at any time. If you have valuable items that you wish to leave in a secure place please let us know and we will store these for you at your own risk.
• Loss and/or damage which arises, for Bramble Park or any third party as a direct or an indirect consequence of your stay, irrespective of whether this was caused through actions or refraining from actions by guests or by third parties, who are at the farm through their making.
• Maintenance work may need to be carried out to keep the camping area looking presentable for our visitors, regular work also needs happen on the farm itself that involved some engine noise. There will be no compensation for noise from such activities, however we will always endeavour to carry them out at a socially acceptable time and where possible when guests are off-site.
• All equipment provided must be used sensibly and instructions adhered to. No naked flames / smoking or flames or flammables to be taken into the tents - and only allocated areas where it is permitted outside of the shepherd huts  

9. Breakages

Any damage or breakages which may occur must be paid for. Small accidental damages or breakages of a minor nature will not normally be charged but you are required to report all breakage and damage to the owners at the time or before you leave the camp.

A damages deposit will be requested ahead of the stay and refunded within 24 hours of your departure if the pitch and equipment is left without damages.

10. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside or near the huts, in the barn or bathrooms or anywhere near the paddocks under any circumstances. Smoking outdoors is permitted but cigarette butts must be collected and disposed of appropriately.

11. Noise and Behaviour

Guests must be respectful to other guests on the site and our neighbours. We do not have a curfew however loud noise or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. All noise must be kept to an absolute minimum after 11pm. Guests who in our reasonable opinion are acting in an anti-social manner and who do not respond to instruction, will be required to leave as immediately as possible without refund.

12. Complaints

Despite all the care that we take to ensure you have a wonderful stay here at Little Bramble Park, it may occur that you have a genuine complaint. You must take up this complaint with the owners immediately, in order to solve the matter as soon as possible and ensure you have the best possible stay.

13. Risks

Bramble Park is a working farm with live animals and potentially dangerous farm equipment among other hazards.

Some areas of the farm and buildings are out of bounds for safety reasons, so please take note of signs.

Whilst we take great care to minimise risk and keep you safe, accidents can happen and we are not responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law). If you notice that any of the camping equipment or facilities look faulty and/or unsafe you must inform the owners as soon as possible. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance against the risk of accidents and your stay being cut short.

14. Groups

The person booking, where they are booking on behalf of other people, is responsible for disseminating the appropriate information to those persons that we send them. For example, these Terms and Conditions; Glamping details including directions and information packs must also be shared

15. Day Visitors

We allow days visitors; however, we must be informed of the number of additional visitors and they must let us know when they are on-site. Visitors will be charged £10 per care and are permitted on site between 9am and 8pm.

16. Horses 

Horses are brought at the owner of the horses responsibility . All jabs and insurance should be up to date - if the horse causes any issues or damages these are chargeable . Please note that although stabling is offered that responsibility for tack and any equipment is at the responsibility of the owner . Bramble Park take no responsibility for any loss or damages
